Following my love of writing and storytelling, I decided to move from my home-state, Colorado, to pursue a degree in journalism at the University of Missouri. I am so proud to be #MizzouMade, and I cannot wait to use the skills I have developed through my studies in a new newsroom. While taking courses for my degree, I began by pursuing reporting and writing, but felt most passionate when I explored the cross-platform editing and producing emphasis. Through my coursework I was able to work in magazine editing, which I enjoyed most and hope to pursue further as I move into my professional career.
